The more I think about it, the less it's about "more of the same" to me. John John is his own man. His own idiot.

Bush certainly taught us that there is not substitute for presidential brainpower. In that sense, it's more of the same, but the more I learn about McCain, the more I think that he has the potential to trump Bush in the arena of US election mistakes.

It's not that I think McCain will be exactly the same as Bush; I'm sure he will come up with some all new jackassery on his own. I'm just seeing the signs of neocon-itis lately, particularly his macho saber-rattling over this recent trouble between Georgia and Russia. He's saying and threatening to do the things he must say and threaten to do to get elected by the warmongering core of the Republican party, and we definitely do not need any more of that from our president.

True. True. And true. What was he, something like 650 out of 654 in his Naval Academy class?

I have this image of McCain riding a circa 1974 Harley with a confederate flag bandana on his head, firing off a shotgun ala your governor in T2 (that was such a cool scene), on his way to Sturgis to get on stage and make some verbal gaffe about expensive gasoline. Sweeeeet.

Seriously though, it just kills me that Republican party would like us to think that there are only two ways to approach international relations: (1) shoot first and ask question whilst torturing later; (2) be a big, wet pussy. Basically, if you don't want to attack the entire globe, then you're not protecting the Red, White & Blue.

James, be a patriot, vote McCain. :)
